Cleaning mats
Regular cleaning is recommended to achieve higher quality properties as well as the life of the mats. These instructions will ensure their better appearance and functionality.
PVC sponge, Urethane mats
Sweeping or rubbing the surface with a mop is most suitable. These types of mats can also be wiped wet with mild soap or detergent. Use detergents with a pH between 4 and 9.
Nitrile mats
Sweeping, vacuuming, washing with a mild soap with a pH between 5 and 9 or pressure cleaning up to 1500 PSI/70-100bar is recommended.
Polyurethane mats
Sweeping, vacuuming, washing with a mild soap with a pH of 6 to 8 and subsequent drying of all water are recommended.
Rubber mats and PVC
Use a high pressure hose (on most mats the pressure must not exceed 500 PSI/35 bar) with hot water (max 71°C) to get rid of any dirt or oil residue. For best results, use a mild soap or detergent with a pH between 4 and 8 to clean your mats. In most cases, steam cleaning, degreasers or caustics are not recommended. Do not use mechanical devices or brushes to clean mats.
ESD mats
Regularity is important with this type of mat. Sweeping, vacuuming, or wiping with a dry mop is recommended. Another option is to scrub the mats with a mild soap or static control cleaner that does not leave residue. In this way, you will ensure that the mat will continue to function effectively.
